Andrew J. Ferraro said...: I don't think it is going to survive this round, but the Locke photo is simply one of the best hockey photos I have ever seen.

And I think that has something to do with how vividly I remember that goal and how well this picture reminds me of exactly what I remember.

Fred Trask said...: I went with Mitch because it's clearly the better photo, especially for those who were not present for the actual events. The goal was absolutely freaking sick but the shot isn't as good without the context of the shots around it. The opposite can probably be said about the Love photo.

So, I went with the Love shot. It's either a lose, lose or win, win depending on how you look at your glass. :-); September 10, 2009 at 8:12 AM
